Crest Whitestrips and Gen Art have enlisted a judging panel including renowned photography industry experts to commemorate America's life in smiles and help you gain national exposure and recognition as a photographer:

Nigel Barker

Celebrity Photographer
Nigel Barker began his career as a model, working for top fashion designers, photographers and collaborating with the industry’s elite. In 1996, he opened his own photo studio in the Meat Packing District in Manhattan. His photography career took off with his work appearing in publications including Seventeen, GQ and People. Coming full circle, Nigel has once again stepped in front of the lens as a Judge and Photographer in the hit television show, “America’s Next Top Model.” Nigel’s ever expanding presence in the industry has resulted in new projects such as the creation of his own show, “The Shot,” which airs on VH1. He is always exploring new ways to express his love for photography by directing and producing commercials, films and documentaries, for various clients from the fashion and entertainment industry and real-life human interest stories. Nigel lives in NYC with his wife Cristen where his is involved with his most exciting project to date, their son Jack.

Phillip S. Block

Phillip Block was Director of Light Work from 1972-1982 and curated over 61 person and group exhibitions, and designed a residency program for artists that has become the model for statewide sponsorship. He then served as Adjunct Curator of Photography at the Everson Museum of Art and was appointed Deputy Director for Programs for the International Center of Photography in 1998. Mr. Block has served on the Board of Directors of Photographers and Friends United Against AIDS, The Guild of Book Workers, The Kodak Education Advisory Council, The W. Eugene Smith Foundation and The Society of Photographic Education. He has acted as a juror for numerous grants and awards and served as an advisor to The Gallery Association of New York State, The Center for Book Arts and The New York State Council for the Arts.

Stephanie Kim

Woman's Day Photo Director
A native of the Boston area, Stephanie was fascinated by magazines at an early age, reading everything from her nerdy brother’s National Geographic to her grandmother’s National Enquirer. After studying art in college, she found herself drawn to New York, where she began her career in the photo department of Redbook Magazine. Since then, Stephanie has worked for a number of well-known magazines including YM, Parents, GEAR, Star (her grandma would have been proud), and DISCOVER.

Carrie Schupper

Director of Art Programming for Gen Art
Carrie Schupper has been working at Gen Art since 2005 and is tasked with managing the growth, development and programming for the company’s Visual Arts program nationally. Gen Art is the leading arts and entertainment organization dedicated to showcasing emerging visual artists as well as fashion designers, filmmakers and musicians.

David Dintenfass

Associate Marketing Director, North American Oral Care for P&G
David Dintenfass is Associate Marketing Director for Procter & Gamble North America Oral Care and Global Whitening. David became a smile expert while casting talent for Crest and Oral B television, PR, and interactive marketing programs and by interviewing smile-conscious dentists and consumers in countries including the US, China, Europe, Latin America, and Japan. Previously, David was Brand Manager P&G Beauty Care, where he ran brands in Skin Care, Facial Cleansing, and Bar Soap. David’s marketing has won several awards, including an Effie, two Cannes Lions, and recognition in Advertising Age.
